Special Activities Groups (Mini Clubs)


​Eligible prospective members may attend two MGSC Special Activities events and one MGSC Social as a guest and then must become a MGSC member to participate.   You must be a current member in good standing to attend our annual Bingo and Bunco Socials.

Let's go antiquing, thrifting, and estate sales shopping!  Want to explore outlet malls with friends? Boutique shopping?
Looking for a fun way to enjoy books and meet new people?  We read all genres:  historical fiction, mystery, biographies, memoirs, non-fiction ... Everything!
Bunco is an easy and FUN game! Do you know how to toss dice?  Able to do simple addition?  Know how to have a good time?  Please join us for fun, food, fellowship & potentially prizes!  
Do you have preschoolers?  Or homeschool your children and want to get out with other parents and their kids?  This is your group!  
Mornings are better, you say?  Consider the Coffee Club.  This group will meet at various local cafes for a cup of coffee or tea, maybe a pastry & definitely some chit-chat!
Would you like to get together with a friend and TALK ... practice English?  This is an opportunity to learn more about the world and make a new military spouse friend!
Do you like crafting?  We create Hawaiian sea glass trees, resin pours, yarn wrapped Easter Eggs, and more!  Cookie decorating and scone baking classes too!   
Let's Dance!  Join the International Spouses for this joyful introduction to dances from around the globe!  Plus, it's healthy! This is absolutely the most fun form of exercise you'll ever enjoy!  
Have you ever been interested in golfing? Have you ever considered this sport for your family or children?  Golf is a fun lifetime sport and full of scholarship potential for youth.  Want to learn more?
Alabama has SO much to offer those who enjoy the outdoors!  Bring your family and join the international families for Saturday hiking adventures at state parks and trails ... fun, exciting and healthy!
Who doesn't love to eat?  Explore the Montgomery area culinary offerings and meet new friends ... go out for lunch with the MGSC Lunch Bunch!
AMC $5 discount Tuesdays = a GREAT night out with friends!  Like live theater?  Area venues have fabulous shows to choose from!

Send and receive a small treat once a month!  Reveal celebration at the end of the year!
